Work out?

So one late night of karaoke lead me to find a new find. I looked in the windows and saw people hanging in what looked like hammocks and there are poles?!?  What have I found?  Why it's aerial yoga!
So the a type personality in me said sign up. Why do normal yoga when you can do it hanging up.

It's not just aerial yoga but also pole fitness.
Both classes definately encourage core strength and my biceps are getting strong.
I've always had admiration for the dancers who can climb up the pole and twirl as if gravity doesn't exist....I however am not that person. Grace has not been pleased upon me but I shall try.

Labor Day huh?

Thanks to the Hornet stings last week, Gene was on put on prednisone which made him hyperlapse Gene. There was no rest on Labor Day weekend for this guy.

So leave it to my hubby to find yet another hornets nest.

Old wives take (because I  becoming that expert in hornets) if the nest is low hanging then the winter will be hard. Well this is yet another low hanging one.

These little buggers are very mean. They attacked the flames and even the window. Sherries plan worked flawlessly.

She is the McGuyer of hornet extermination.

The rain did not damper Lucy's spirit but a bath did.

So back in July hubby and I found the Michigan Flywheelers. He was dying to go back and see the swap meet. His desire is to find an old hit and miss motor that is small so we can make ice cream with it.
The start of the day trip lead to blue skies. Hubby days it's only beautiful weather in Michigan.

The good ol oil puller provided a ride to weary people

I got to hear and see the Funk in motion!

Reminds me of the Polar Express for some reason.

Simple but man did things run back in the day.

People were very proud of their equipment. There were things there that I didn't know still existed.

This is the perfect size for what we want.

After a great morning of tractors we hit some cider!
Back to Virtue were we got to your the cider house, never in a million years would I have imagined this building is two stories underground.
My favorite cider from here is the mitten. It's placed in the bourbon oak barrels up top there to give the cider that sweet honey tone that takes me back to Kentucky.

Another close for cider is McIntosh. Had to get a cider doughnut!

Only in Michigan do you step back into the industrial revolution to then go to the coastal life.
South haven has my favorite lighthouse.
Ran down through St. Joe because I had to have my Silver Beach pizza.
Got to go seen the St. Joe lighthouse first.
The waves were very choppy. Water was coming over the pier.

Sunset was a sweet pizza but no sweet view as a family decided to stand right in front of me out of 50 yards of clear space they chose in front of me. Oh well enjoy the pizza. My favorite is the undertow with mushrooms.

Basketball!!

Thanks to the Smiley radio show I won two free tickets to the Indiana Fever playoff game.  So I took my little sister who is prepping to become the next biggest wnba player.

My first time at Bankers Life Fieldhouse

See how she's becoming the next biggest thing?

We had the most amazing seats only 4 row from the court.

Freddy Fever was awesome!

I think we have a thing

I got to seat across from Lin Dunn and Stephanie White!

We got on the jumbotron.

Fever won against the Mystics!

Spent the weekend with these amazing women from church.

So at the lot was this horrible hornets nest so Gene decided to try and knock it down in the pouring rain. Unfortunately hornets won 5 Gene 0.
So Sherrie devised an amazing plan to burn the hell out the suckers.

I present to you redneck olympics

So what better way to celebrate than to hit the lake.

Lucy had a blast.

So proud to see her swim!

Fair time!

A blue eyed goat!  It's that time of the year for fairs.
Can I use a goat instead of a lawn mower?

Little bantams have so much attitude. I love it.

Talk about a comb over. I shall name him Donald Trump.

Also attended the Tippecanoe county fair and the Indiana state fair. Was soooo excited that they reintroduced alcohol to the fair but when we got there they were closed :( #epicfailure

Only a lamb parfait and soothe an unhappy soul

At night the fair becomes quite magical

So Delphi has this thing called Old Settlers which is like another way to enjoy the history of the town. We went to explore and instead found flying dogs
That's right flying dogs and frisbees
Learned a lot a out dog agility and border collies. Made me look at my dog Lucy in a different light.

Lucy go fetch me some money out of the ATM.
Yeah that's the look I get...gotta work on the training thing.
