Where's my Godfrey?!?!

Even though snowmageddon has hit, hubby and I are determined to still travel and have adventures. This means yet another trip to Albanese because hubby has now realized how amazing the gummies are and bought 8 pounds. Did I mention his three cavities?
I'm addicted to something called satellite wafers.

Couldn't help but love these Rice Krispie treats.

So the next stop was the casino!!!  Winner winner chicken dinner. We played blackjack, hubby doesn't like live tables so we play the electronic dealer.  Hubby broke even and I was $100 up. I then decided to go play craps because I'm all about casino games with better odds. I pulled in another $40. Really could've spent the whole night there but better to get out ahead then behind.
We met up with a Godfrey for dinner at Shoreline Brewery in Michigan City.
OMG one of the best Bloody Mary's I've ever had.
Oh yes that's cheese!
Hubby has been wanting poutine and a miracle happened...it's on the menu.
It was awesome. I have this wierd food phobia of having my food touch but this was awesome. I had a great lamb burger.  Their beers are good but I think I'll always get their Bloody Mary's.
As is tradition every winter, hubby and I go out on the beach and to the lighthouse. Well...there is no beach just mounds of snow.
It was too cold to get to the lighthouse but from what I've seen it's encased in ice anyway.
Driving through the snow was worth it for great eats and great Godfreys.

Devouring Downtown and denying dentist

Twice a year Indianapolis has an event called Devour Downtown where local eateries have a three course meal for $35-40, it's a great way to sample new great food and also a great way to try new places.
We also attended the Indianapolis home show.
Butterflies and Boneham, oh my!

I love Survivor and I love Rupert!!  Rupert is such a nice man. His program rupert kids focuses on working with at risk youth, something near and dear to my heart. Hubby voted him for Indiana governor last election.  There is more to him then the beard and tie dye.

I got to play around with the weather forecast.

So we decided upon St. Elmo's steakhouse.  One thing they are famous for is shrimp cocktail. Nom nom.
I love when horseradish makes me tear up.    I jumped into my steak and forgot to take a photo. I did manage to remember the creme brûlée.

So the biggest thing coming up at home is the dentist issue. Hubby does not I repeat does not want to have his wisdom teeth removed. We went to the dentist to get cleanings and checks done. Here is my clean X-ray.
However, hubby has three cavities and his wisdom teeth are wrapping around his other tooth root, it's so bad an oral surgeon consult is gong to be done. Hubby is NOT happy. He's been having nightmares about this. It's hard to see him struggle with this fear, he isn't one to to talk or open up about it. He ends up pushing away or drinking which makes it worse. We have a consult next week but my fear is he won't be open to it and despite the negatives of keeping them in he will continue to deal with the pain they give him.

Even Wasabi tries to console him.
